the more i think about it the more i honestly hate that korra and asami didn’t become better friends in s1, not because of how much i love them or korrasami or anything, just because the two females with the most screen time spend so much of their time entangled in a stupid love triangle pining over the same guy

like it would mean so much more to everyone if we could have two ladies love each other and find value (because um they’re both fantastic characters but we never get a second to think about how fantastic they would be as friends in the show!?!) than the narrative forcing us to “pick a side” of the triangle to root for and pitting them against each other for the sake of a (terrible) ship

i’m just upset about everything asami in lok and her friendship with korra is kind of what keeps her in the show at this point (she has no ties to mako because they kind of broke up and lol bolin having some form of development in lok that would allow him to have any relationship with asami), yet it’s so underdeveloped? s2 better have some korrasami bonding or i am going to scream at bryke

Headcanon - At times Sokka would go to the place Momo was burried and leave a few fruits, especially peaches, the same thing Momo had brough him the day they met. Just because that was the beggining of their friendship and earned him his name (since Momo means peach).

I loved how Sokka and momo became close throughout the series. It’s adorable.
