I pretended to know how to shade. Yay?
I’m going to do something with this eventually, but for now it’s my avatar.

I have made a wooper with some rindo berries.
The one on the left I made for my new wallpaper, the one on the right is to show what it looks like not as a tile.
I was lacking in inspiration, so I tried to pull inspiration from this old doodle I found in one of my notebooks.

I drew a bagon. idk
I’ve been meaning to do a better pokedesign with more effort than my kricketot, but I’ve been slacking. Here, have some purrloins.
As I was sketching the top left one I noticed the head came out similar to an older version of Kat’s ‘sona so I went in that direction and made it a mix of normal purrloin features and several variations of her ‘sona because I’m uncreative like that. The colors are a blend of the ‘sona’s colors and shiny purrloin.
The one to the right of that seems to be more Sonic-styled in the face and more “me” styled in the body. (Everything I draw is jellybeans.) The colors are the normal purrloin palette tinted red.
The bottom one looks most like a purrloin in the face and my attempt to put it in a sleeping pose comes back to my lazy beanbag bodies. The tail was originally not meant to look like that, but I noticed it in the sketch and realized it looked similar to purrloin’s normal tail and went with it. I actually think the tail is my favorite part of that one. The colors are the normal purrloin palette tinted green.

This is a couple years old, but I still like it. I actually think it came out better than my more recent fanart of Brad. But then, I’ve pixeled better than I’ve drawn for the most part for years now. I should get to doing that more.
(I’m actually working on something right now. ¬_¬)
This was based on the sprites from the first Wild Arms, though it’s kind of off. I think I got the basics of that style right at least.

Shy squirtle.

The frightening patterns on its belly have been studied. Six variations have been confirmed.
And yet they went back to trying to recreate the one from gen 1 and have been using the same basic one for the last few games.
